In 1962, Donald and Alberna Lanz began a company called Tri-City Manufacturing Company in Oregon City, Oregon. The company specialized in wire forming/stamping and supplied paint roller frame components to the painting/coating industries. The company also sold their own paint roller frames under the Swiss Home brand. In 2002, understanding a need for a sturdy quick-connect tool to extension pole system, Jiffyloc was born. The system is widely used in the painting and coating, scaffolding, medical, cleaning, and many other fields. Our home office is still based in Oregon City, Oregon with manufacturing and warehouse in nearby Portland. Today, Jiffyloc is managed by Donald and Alberna's youngest sons, Michael and Scott Lanz.
